Norman Cates

Norman is probably best known for his work on The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (2001-2003). He just won’t shut up about it! 🙂

First in pre-production and production at Weta Workshop where he was responsible for making all the gelatin prosthetics from 1999-2000.

Then at Weta Digital where he started in Rotoscoping, and moved into Compositing in the middle of VFX work on The Two Towers.

And there he has stayed at Weta Digital since 2001, working on MANY many films (including the silly little film we know as AVENGERS).
